I hear you, but if you think there is nothing to do in Casper, try coming down to my neck of the woods, I race my car, and use the deer, antelope and squirrels as my spectator's and competitior's...LOL
Haha, for sure. Well, when it comes time for our annual cruise through the Beartooth Mountains, I'll drop you a link. There's also a Montana thread in the regional section that most of us from MT, WY, and ND post up in regularly.

Right on, I found it, Thanks for the headsup on the run. It would be cool to meet some of the guys from my area. I'm tired of all the ghetto civic's around here revving at me all the time when I drive my car. They think a body kit, free ***** wing and cool paint is gonna make them go faster...LOL

^I hear you there... I'm pretty sure this area of the country is at least 5-10 years behind whats going on in the real world.
And I hear you about the ricers with bodykits. I live on one of the busiest streets in Billings, and if my car isn't hidden behind others, all day/night long they drive by revving when mine is just parked in the driveway.

Yes we are behind the times, but that is not always a bad thing...I love it here, compared to SoCal, where I came from.
It seems everyone wants to race when I do drive it, I just let them live their pipe dream. Not worth getting harrassed by the local PD.
I guess if you dont have body kit, way oversized wheels and bumping the tunes you arent ever gonna be fast...LOL

Oh, ok, it makes sense then. You're a transplant. I came from Seattle, but there are a few locals here that aren't into the riceboy ****.

I moved here straight out of the Military 6 yrs ago, couldn't bring myself to go back to CA. Never been happier, except for the lack of parts, cars, etc.
^I hear you there. Everytime I go to Washington to visit or down to the Denver area for work, I scour Craigslist for parts to buy.

I do the samething...LOL, Last fall I got 1993 EG SI for $600 in Idaho Falls. Minor body damage to one quarter panel and a bad timing belt, waterpump and heater core. Fixed everything with spare parts I had laying around and sold it a few weeks back for $2000...Gotta love craigslist.
did you have the b16 auto trans fully functional with your b18 engine? I'm curious because I currently have a b20b w/ ls auto trans. I'm looking for a better auto tranny, just curious what your experience is and what I would need to mate your b16 trans w/ my b20b. Thanks. (206) 788-7434

I never had it running, I only bought the auto swap because autos aren't beaten on as bad as manual B16A's. The information that I found on the trans:
M24A, same trans as 92-95 d series, different case to mate to a b series.
So it would mount the same as your LS auto trans, but would be wired up like a d series, one connection for the shift solenoid.
It will come with trans, flexplate, torque converter, shift cable, cbale that goes to throttle body, mounts and misc hardware exclusive to auto trans.
You would need to have your ecu programmed with the P30 auto trans shift points.
Aside from that, it would be identical to installing a d series auto trans.
I can get you pics if you want.

Not sure why you would have to pay to wire it up? A d series auto engine harness is plug and play with the trans.
Thanks for the bump,
Tim
