when modifying engines there are only 2 of 3 things that can be chosen. cost effectiveness, reliability and power. now decide which two you want. no one can tell you what a "good build" for you is, only you can decide. you know your finances and capabilities. there's too much information out there for you to not be able to make these decisions yourself.

so here's some advice, know your finances and capabilities, and make your decisions keeping the 2 of 3 decisions in mind. If you want reliability and cost effectiveness, do some simple bolt-ons, but you're not gonna get much more power out of it, if you want cost effectiveness and power, install nitrous or a junkyard turbo kit, but you lose a lot of your reliability because honda's were not meant for forced induction in a stock platform, if you want power and reliability, build the motor to handle the power, but this is gonna cost some green.

I hope this helps you out with your decision.

ya i know, i dont mind spending some green for some good stuff, im not in a hurry to get everything done at once, im just gonna take some baby steps doing it, but i was just wondering to just slap a turbo kit on and call it a day or take some time and build it up or build it and boost it, i do get wat your saying tho

My 2 cents...

- find a B18C short block
- decent set of cams
- lightweight flywheel

Those 3 will make good power, i promise!
