Finished painting my garage; lower drywall edge?
I just recently finished painting my garage (bright white; it looks like a hospital now lol). Anyways, I want to add some kind of trim to the bottom edge of the drywall (where it meets the concrete). Any ideas? Thanks.

Yeah I am back and forth about painting the bottom edge (up maybe 3 feet or so) all the way around. I was considering some kind of stainless steel "trim/paneling." Thoughts?
Vinyl Base Moulding, (it comes in a big roll at Home Depot, Menards, Lowes, etc).

Don't forget to use a bead of silicon or a bonding type sealant between the floor and the molding. That way if you ever spill something or use a really wet mop. The moisture won't be able to get up between the molding and the drywall.

Friend of mine has 6" of thin brushed aluminum diamond plate along the floor and more on his cupboard doors. Looks pretty sick and you can seal it up the same way as the vinyl molding because his was scored and bent with a 1/2" bottom lip. $$$ I'll see if I can get him to take a pic.
I'm considering painting the lower half of the wall another color besides white. Any suggestions? I was thinking of using dark gray?
