planning out suspension setup need opinions
i own a 00 si, and i've been experiencing some slop in my suspension and am planning on stiffining it up this spring. currently i only have tokico blues with an eibach pro kit. origionally i had H&R dropsprings on them but decided to put pro kit on and raise it up a bit. i'm planning on tracking my car at a road course but will still be driving my car on the street every now and then. I was origionally looking at illuminas but now i'm thinking about going the koni yellow route. I can't really afford a decent set of coilovers at the moment, but i don't want to buy junk or oe replacement shocks. does anyone have any insight on what would be a good setup for me? my limit for the setup would probly be 500 as of right now. any information would be appreciated.

Koni Sports would certainly be a great choice, but you'll have to stay with your current springs if you go this route, unless you save up some more cash.
Get the Konies.
Later buy GC coilover sleeves with a sporty springrate, this you then can use in summer, in winter you mount your Pro Kit.

Why not just raise up the GC's in winter? Either way, an alignment is required every time ride height changes, in order to keep from trashing your tires.

i just got off the phone with ground control, they said they don't sell the sleeves seperately, does anyone know of anywhere that does?

Interesting. First I've heard of that one. Trevor? Can you shed some light?
Maybe send PM to Ground Control Trevor on here.
*edit* just saw someone else ordered the sleeves from itbmotorsports.com I think.

Higher rate in summer: sportier driving possible due to weather conditions, in winter lower rate for comfort and better grip in lesser weather conditions (coldness). In this view ride height change is not an issue, although practical (higher in winter).
Sounds strange indeed.

i'll be putting on my form and function type 2's tomorrow so hopefully get to test them out and i'll let you know what i think about them. paid about $900 for it brand new. they are a full coilover set with 32 way adjustable dampening.
