key fob not programming

Default key fob not programming

ahoy everyone. my girl got an 04 Si. with no key fob. i ordered one off ebay and now we cant get it to program. the FCC id on the fob is NHVWB1U523. i looked that code up and it is indeed for a 04 civic Si. what and where all should i check to make sure the alarm reciever is up to par? fuses maybe? also where is the reciever located?

What are you doing to try to program it? And you are 100% positive that FOB will work for your car and it has new batteries?

I had two FOBs for my car, one was brand new but didn't work. Turns out it was for another Honda.

Make sure you are doing the procedure correctly.

Keyless entry module is located by the fusebox the key fobs will not work if not for your year they change the frequencies usually yearly
