I'm planning to call GC and Koni tomorrow to double check, but does anyone know if Koni Yellow shocks for a 1994-2001 Integra have the same outside diameter (42mm) as Koni Yellow shocks for a 1988-1991 Civic?

Reason being is I have a full Ground Control setup for Koni Yellows from a 1989 Civic hatch in the correct spring rates for my Integra which I've also been looking into purchasing Koni Yellows for, but I don't want to spend more than necessary if the Ground Control sleeves for the Civic + Yellows are exactly the same in inner diameter as the sleeves for the Integra application.

The Integra is a type-R if that matters/affects the Koni Yellow shock diameter.

I looked on the GC website and they carry different part numbers, but i'm guessing that is for the springs. You can always order the correct sleeves from them and use your springs they are pretty universal in their kits.

 

Thanks for the input , I guess I'll give Koni and Ground Control a call tomorrow. I've never messed with Integra suspension before so I've no idea if Koni's are all the same diameter for EG/DC/EF/EK or whatnot as I was going off of this picture:

Just an update for future reference, but the GC representative told me that the ID's for DC Integra applications and 88-91 Civic applications are in fact different.
