Found more oil leaks? Oil dipstick?

This is the continuation of my oil leak issues from this thread: https://honda-tech.com/forums/tech-misc-15/why-my-vtec-solenoid-valve-leaking-2733130/
So it seems that the oil leak from my VTEC valve and solenoid is pretty much fixed. I did not see any more oil running down the front of the engine/trans right where the engine code is stamped on the block. However, after driving I could still smell oil burning, like it was dripping onto the exhaust header.
Further inspection revealed tons of oil residue on the front of the block, right behind the exhaust header, around the block coolant drain bolt. I could not find any oil up higher on the block or on the front of the head.

I checked and saw a bunch of residue all over the oil dipstick tube. I removed the header heat shield and found nothing on the block up high behind the header, but most of the residue was down lower on the block, on the dipstick tube and around the bottom of the tube.

Looking underneath, it appears the oil pan gasket might be leaking (only been on the car less than 20K miles), but a closer look shows there is oil up higher on the block and is running down to the edge of the oil pan.

Also looked like there may be a bit of a leak from the drain plug. Not sure what's going on here, as I ALWAYS replace the washer at every oil change, and make sure the pan is clean before putting the bolt and new washer back on. Will have to check this at the next oil change.

There was a bunch of oil on the bottom of the transmission around the flywheel cover, but I'm 99.94% sure that's what had run down earlier from the VTEC valve above.

So I'm about ready to just order a new oil dipstick tube and dipstick. Looking in the Helms, though, I don't see any section that addresses removal or replacement of the dipstick tube. What holds it in? I remember on my friend's old D16Y8 SOHC the tube just seemed to slip into a hole in the block. Is it the same with this? What holds the tube in place?

I believe the Y8 does just slip into the block and is held by a bracket at the top of the dipstick, and there is an O ring at the base of the dipstick. At least thats what I recall on D16Y7's, so Im assuming the Y8's are the same. IIRC B series dipstick tubes are press fit. Does your dipstick fit tightly in the tube? I have seen times when the dipstick fits very loose (old and worn?) and oil comes out of the tube.

PCV *should* be fine, it's only been on there for about 17K miles, less than 2 years.
As for the pic of the oil pan gasket, it is not too tight. What you see in the pic is sludge on the edge of it. The gasket itself is even all the way across. It's been leak free for 2 years and I suspect that it is NOT what is leaking now. Trust me, I installed that gasket with the engine out of the car, upside down on a stand, with a $100 torque wrench, so it is definitely installed correctly. Used no liquid gasket, either.

you are going to have to spray engine degreaser all over that mess and power wash all that oil off before you can make any decisions on where the oil is really leaking from. its hard to tell exactly where its coming from IMO.

just drive it to the car wash and while its still hot spray the hell out of it with soap and water and then look n see where its coming from cause by the looks of it its been leaking for a long time
