some 1/8 mile times
FINALLY got my civ out to a track. It was only an 1/8th mile track, but it's still legal and it gets me used to launching with a tree. Reaction times improved steadily throughout the night, from around 1.2 at the beginning, to two .65's at the end of the night. A guy I know who thinks a B18C1 isn't "meant" to be in a civic engine bay was there and we raced 4 times. I won twice, he won twice. On the last run, I beat him by .01 seconds. Doesn't get much closer than that for joy racers. Best time was a 9.68 @ 67.5 mph. All in all a very fun and informative night. I REALLY need to get a header and a few runs on a 1/4 mile track.
9.68 @ 67.5 mph.
that's a good et but trap speed doesn't look right imo. In my old stock 88si, I ran a 9.66 on street tires. And 9.27 on slicks. Through all of my runs in any crx, I have at least had a 70mph trapspeed. That's odd. Take a look at my most recent time slip from last night. This is a factory crx si engine. My problem was that there was water all over the staging lanes so my street tires we wet as hell before I got to run.. ohh well.. anyways.. take a look Someone tell my why his trapspeed is so low. please?Last night:
reaction: 5.07
60ft: 2.516
594ft: 9.5
1/8th ET: 10.15
1/8th MPH: 71.65
the better time slip is somewhere in my car but..
heres some time slips from another stock crx i had some time last year..
