Well I found a 88 CRX DX with no rust for about 1200 (will offer lower) that has a hard start problem. Causes for a "hard start" generally could be battery (which would lead to alternator and so on), starter, or loose connections.
He says, "If you let it rest for 20-30 minutes it will start again." This directly led me (as will many of you) to believe it is a faultly MFR . However, he later said that he would need to be push started from time to time.-but then this contradicts the faulty MFR-
My question is would push starting a CRX with a faulty MFR enable the car to start?
Or would the car need a new starter+solenoid?
Since the car is 2 hours away and I seem to be the only one interested at the momment I cannot visually inspect the vehicle. These two statements that he's said are throwing me for a loop.
So which one do you believe it is. One or the other or both?

Sounds like a main relay to me.
I'd also say, if it's rust free, go for it...that's the most important thing, mechanical is easy to fix, body work on the other hand.....you know
