If you want something quiet go with the Apexi world sport 2. I've heard Greddy's quality has gone down a bit.

That's gotta be one loud *** exhaust currently on the car because Greddy Evo2 are loud as **** and the canister+tip is HUGE! I don't miss my evo2 one bit haha.

I've had an Apex'i WS2 on my 01 Integra GS and I loved it to bits. Now I have a Mugen TL on my R and by far my favourite exhaust system so far.

I bought a Thrush Turbo muffler from PepBoys for $40 to replace my Tsudo straight-through muffler. It is perfect. Quiet on the Highway, but you still know it's there while accelerating. I have a glasspack and a high-flow cat, too. It doesn't buzz or pop or anything. I also like that you can choose the tip you put on it, and have the freedom to change the tip later.

I tried searching but couldn't find anything conclusive. Does anyone know what kind of HP increase you can expect by bolting on this exhaust? I have a Hytech header and intake and am looking for a quiet exhaust.

We just answered this question a few weeks ago.
https://honda-tech.com/forums/acura-integra-type-r-8/exhaust-decision-2726409/

My search for a quiet exhaust in ITR room threads yielded this
https://honda-tech.com/search.php?searchid=7020941

No new breakthroughs in exhaust technology has happened for a ITR in the last 5 years so all this info is still relevant.

You should just find a stock exhaust unless you have a serious N/A setup or FI. Although I had an RS*R on my turbo DC a couple years ago, now that was quiet.

I'd do a high flow cat with a mandrel bent 2.5" B-Pipe to an OEM USDM/JDM ITR axle back

just get the apexi ws2, people are going to mention high end stuff like hytech, fujitsubo, spoon, mugen, etc. Unless your looking for these and are on a budget i would pick the ws2. For the price its either it or the tanabe medallion.

RS*R Ex-Mag hands down. Not only is it quieter than every exhaust mentioned in this thread (other than stock), its low cost, very well made (construction and material wise), flows well, and is so low profile it looks like it could have been OEM equipment. I had one on my B18C5'd EM1 Si, and I loved it.

Of course I have custom 2.5" mandrel bent pipe with a stock JDM DC5 Type R axle back. That's pretty stealth and quiet as well.

i have a thermal 3" exhaust on my car and its not loud. im sure a 2.5 one will be even quieter.

but as stated above the apexi ws2 is quite and so is the RS*R exhaust systems

Not if there's a sticker on it. Now we're talking 35-40, depending on the size of the sticker.

just buy a spoon street axle back used from ICB. they are like 450. i bought mine from there and it was in GREAT shape when i received it! worth EVERY penny. VERY quiet like stock until you open up the throttle. has a nice tone but not very loud even at full throttle. by FAR my favorite exhasut ive owned! i have heard that the twinloop is great too.
