ok when i turn my key on i hear the antenna motor work and when i turn it off i hear it again .. but my antenna is stuck up .. if i have my brother push down on it when i turn the key it will take the antenna down if he lets it go .. and when i turn it back on it will send the antenna out but wont go back down unless its pushed on .. so i was wondering what might cause that? is the antenna not connected or maybe broke? i cant pull it out so i dont see how it work be broke or disconnected though .. so if you might have any thought on this please let me know .. thanks

 

a fairly easy fix IMO....I had the same problem. The plastic reel thats inside the metal mast that pushes and pulls the mast up/down is old and brittle, so it more than likely broke off at the end. I bought a Antenna Mast kit for around $15(ebay) and fixed it myself. After alil research I found a tutorial on the job and had it done in about and hour. The antenna mast cant be pulled out unless you take off the antenna cap nut and black base...
