Default Prophet II Spectrophotometer

Any of you guys use equipment such as the Prophet II Spectrophotometer?
It reads the paint and mixes a paint to match it. It even takes fading into effect, I think. I'm getting a bumper repainted and I know it will be slightly darker if painted by the paint code b/c the car is 7 years old.

We have an $8,000 "gun" that we use when customers insist on it. Often times its not exact. If you do have it scanned, make sure the area is as clean as possible. You may end up getting better results out of the actual paint code. Good luck.
