IN 99 Civic Si (EM1)
1999 Honda Civic Si - $4,500 or cash offer - no trades
Need this gone asap, loosing job soon...
*Custom paint / wheels
*Lowered (Tein springs and KYB GR2 struts)
*Newer B16A engine with a 5 speed manual transmission. (~80k miles)
*DC Sports header, custom exhaust, AEM intake
*Short throw shifter
*Light-weight flywheel, performance clutch
*Power locks, windows, and sun roof. Key-less entry.
*~30 mpg.
Tires are in great condition. Fresh ignition system; new distributor, plugs, and wires. The A/C components are all removed but does have excellent heat for in cold weather. It has a nice Sony radio and all the speakers have been replaced with Sony speakers. Also is wired for sub(s). The car does have a rebuilt title, which is free of liens and is in-hand.
Thanks,
Jason McIntosh

Unless you two have the money to re paint it for me then please have the respect to edit out your comments... It's a for sale thread, I didn't ask anyone's opinion nor did I do the paint myself.
I remember seeing this for sale on craigslist awhile back and laughing my *** off at the price and ridiculous paint, did you buy it with the intention of redoing it or something? BTW titles don't get put as rebuilt just because parts were taken off it. Not only that buy a rebuilt EM1 for $5k is over priced by a long shot.

And about the title thing, yeah they do. Here anyway. There isn't a tweak on the thing, and a friend of mine ran a carfax report on it and it didn't show any accident. And how is 5K way off? Book value on a clean one like it is like 6 something. Half the car is new now...
Yes that was the plan. Project De-Rice... But anyway, I am out of money and losing my job so yeah... End of that ride. I put a lot of time into finding the rest of the parts and getting it back closer to stock.

But just because YOU sold your Si that cheap doesn't mean everyone does. Maybe stuff is cheaper down there but stuff like that holds value here pretty well.
