just wondering is this a rare thing that i have all my original papers from 89? i have warranty papers/original window paper/original sales recept and all

 

In my opinion, I think it is fairly rare to have all of the original paper work for such an old car. It is easy to lose the paperwork when the car goes from one owner to the next. Out of the 12 used Honda's that I have owned, only my current 89 Civic Si came with all of the original paper work.

 

yeah mines a 89si also. i even have the honda rust warranty papers/card

 

thats funny, i just bought a 90 si and it comes with all original paperwork. Its funny seein the original bill of sale and what the car was worth brand new, the car came almost fully loaded

 

I got my original owners manual to my crx if that counts lol.

My 91 rt4wd came with all the paperwork, maintnece records ect. all in the glove box. only 89k too

 

14,195 base, this car came with extras so it was 17,125

 

mine has dealer records for oil changes and maint up to like 100k

 

My 88 came with original bill,add on work order,alot of maint. records,even the window sticker.I bought it exactly 20 yrz to the date it was orig sold,lol...

I am the original owner of my 91 Tahitian Green Civic DX Hatchback and I have everything, well, not every oil change receipts, but all major work done which is not alot since I do most of it myself. I bought mine November 1991 from Palo Alto Honda in the Bay Area. Cheers.

I too am the original owner of my 90 Std hatch. I have all the original paperwork and stuff. I threw out most of the minor repair stuff. I bought mine December 01, 1989.

 

Whoa for a second I thought you were crazy, but then I noticed you're in Canada.
I bought my 90 Si from the original owner and it came with the original window sticker.
Manufacturer's suggested retail price was $10,245 USD
$70 for Cali emissions control system and testing
$260 for destination and handling charge

So the total was $10,575.

28mpg in the city, and 32 mpg highway according to the sticker.

I am the second owner, I got my Civic Sedan w/ 201k on it, I have all the original stickers and such with the car. 211k on the clock now... I have done a lot of work to keep it running as my beater car.

 

all i got with my car was the owners manual and a clean title. i wish i had gotten more, however i have created quite the stack of papers as i have slowly replaced each part, including rebuilding the engine and trans for it. so i guess i have papers for it... lol

 

Where are the pics of the OG paperwork for the CRX/Civics?
