LCA's worth it?
what exactly is the performance gain from an aftermarket lower control arms? i'm just curious what exactly they're gonna do for me.
i'm also curious what the difference between an expensive pair (F7 or Skunk2) and a cheaper pair (Blox)

There is no performance gain other then new bushings and they are lighter. Plus they look nice to anyone driving behind you. Bling parts is what they are essentially. You can buy a energy suspension bushing kit and replace the ones in your stock lcas and get the same result except for the weight difference.
It seems that the cheaper lcas don't put the sway bar mounting hole in the right spot and you have to end up using adjustable endlinks to make the sway bar mount up properly. Also whatever material is used for the bushings seems to wear out pretty quickly from what I've seen. Hope this clears things up for you.

pretty much f7's are the only ones that are worth it IMO due to the lifetime warranty and the multiple mounting locations for the swaybar. Between the lifetime warranty and being designed and made in the US, that is why i bought them. That and my bushings in the OE LCAs were shot and if im gonna replace the bushings im just gonna replace the whole damn thing.
The big thing is weight. There are some other things as well. The "cheaper" ones typically come with oem bushings. F7 and Skunks have replaceable polyurethane bushings. F7 even offers a spherical kit for the more hardcore racers. You will get rid of some of the "slop" found in the factory rubber bushings witch will increase responsiveness and feedback a bit. Expect to lose a bit of ride comfort and quietness. You get what you pay for.

Only ones I've seen capable of doing so are the OG Suspension Techniques Pro Arms from back in the late 90's, which have long since been discontinued. These arms would lower the rear suspension even with stock springs and shocks, in addition to offering camber adjustment.
Besides the minute unsprung weight which affects the speed of the shock controlling the up and down travel on a bump, the only 2 I would get are the F7's or the SK2's. Both have 3 different mounting holes for your rear sway to make it have the affect of three different MM bars to choose from in one single swaybar.
