My Ody shifts poorly; slams into reverse most days, pulling into a lot and giving it the gas it cuts loose from OD and slams into first gear when you try to move around the parking lot, etc. Is there any easy fix for this? Shifting solenoids etc? Or do ya just sling a rebuilt tranny in it and move on???? I know they have a bad reputation for trannies, but this seems to be a shifting problem w/o the actual ability to drive 80mph down the hwy being impaired.....when you give it the gas, it hauls ***! It's got the original trans with 97k on it. TIA! Cactus Blob
