half of the stuff in this dosent matter, its just my list.. (aka setup) But with this setup, do you think that installing 11:0 je pistons in replacement of my 9.0:1 will be streetable? Thanks.

nitrous loves compression

BUT, it will make it harder to tune. You'll basically have to run race gas whenever you want to spray, or retard the timing a lot

i would go with the 11:1 tho

Hell yea. Thats what I wanted to hear. I love having an all motor beast. And if timimg tuning and Race gas will keep it going under the "gas" then hell yea.. thats the route im going to take. Thanks.

I have also heard that when putting in Eagle rods , you should go with a bearing size larger than OEM specs on the rods. Is this correct?

And are oem bearing the best to use?

Thanks again!!

u could safely run 12.5:1 on the street w/pump gas. no problems there. id say the higher the better. i used stock sized OEM bearings on my rods. i dunno y u would want bigger bearings. probably for better oil control. ive gone almost the whole race season now w/no problems whatsoever. rev to 9k at the track anywhere from 1-4times a month w/multiple passes.

11:0.1 is very streetable

on one of our cars we were running 13:1 possibly higher on 93+ Sunnco gas. but no point in going that high without sick cams.

in my last car i was running 12:1 tuned with a stock idle, so good luck.

yea i was thinking of building my h22 with a 12.5:1 compression but alot of people told me that is to high for the street. you guys are saying with the right tuning i should be able to run that on 93 octane with no problem? how long would an engine like that last about with only around 10-15 runs a year

i dunno what the other guys r doin for "tuning". my car is mostly track driven but gets street time too. its untuned as they get. put the motor together, started it up adjusted the idle and timing and done, no detonation. chipped P28 runnin it.
