90 seconds after turning the key to this car the idle jumps from 1k rpm to nearly 2.5k rpm in park and neutral. It jumps erratically at times when I'm at stop signs and red lights when I'm in drive; not often, but often enough. I need to get this thing inspected and my mechanic laughed at me and said it would never pass NYS inspection. He told me it reeked of gasoline when he got it inside his shop and it wasn't worth my $27 to fail inspections. Now I'm freaking because the man is after my paper I've been pulled over twice for no inspection/registration. I need my dear honda to pass emissions yesterday, I've cleaned my IACV it helped...marginally(weak) and my next step is to buy two new O2 sensors. I've been doing my homework-my antifreeze is ****, my engine oil is good, new spark plugs- distributor cap +wires. What in the hell do I do????!!!!! I'm a tin knocker not a mechanic so keep that in mind when you post
