I'm looking to buy a stock CRX and build it up from the ground. This is my first car and its basically going to be my baby. I'm having trouble finding anything remotely near to what I want at this point on this forum. I understand most people with built cars started out from scratch, where did you pick up your first car? tips for me on where to go? Nothing on here is stock, or cheap for that matter.

 

if you find a stock crx, please dont "build it". just keep it stock because stock crx's are getting more rare everyday and i guarantee it will be a collector car in the future. just find a crx that has already been bastardized and build it to what you want it to be. better yet, save a crx that is on the chopping block.

Craigslist hasn't been showing me much love near chicago, Western IL and souther wisc have a few, but they're either junk or the owners don't respond
