Default Autopower roll bar in a car with sunroof?

I'm looking into picking up a Autopower roll bar from this guy, he had it in his 94 civic hatch. It DIDN'T have a sunroof. My car is also a 94 civic hatch, but HAS sunroof. My question is will it fit ok in my hatch? i don't want people telling me no it won,t or i don't think so. Unless you honestly know for a fact or have done it from experience. Thanks guys.

you should be okay. i used to have a Autopower 4 point in my 92 civic si with sunroof. no cutting. i dont remember if you lose the use of the dome light or not. but i think the top bar sits against it..

sorry for the crappy pic. its a picture of an old 35mm print.

Autopower does not make two separate sunroof and non-sunroof models of their rollbars. They also have the main hoop kind of low (partly in an effort to work with a full-interior car). While I haven't done it myself, both of those things point to 99.9% surety that it will work fine.

According to Autopower, there is only one bar for the '92-95 Civic:

I'm going to offer a correction here.

I ordered an Autopower Rollbar for my Type-R, I asked that they make it 1" taller since I didn't have a sun roof, the rollbar will NOT fit in an Integra with a Sunroof.

Dude was asking about a Civic, and I'm going off the Autopower information. Are you saying the rollbar would not have fit in a sunroof Integra BEFORE you added the extra 1"? I'm also assuming that was an Integra rollbar to begin with.

I'm just saying that you can custom order items from Autopower. For the most part, the Civic, or Integra Autopower bars will swap between their respective Sunroof/non-sunroof cars without a problem, there will be rare cases where someone custom orders a part and they wont cross over.

I called up IO Port and ordered the Autopower Rollbar, I told him that I had a '01 Integra Type-R, and that since it didn't have a sunroof, I would like to have it made with an extra 1" in height for the hoop. When Autopower received the order they called me to confirm that I indeed wanted an extra 1" added. They made it 1" taller, it was a very tight fit, I had to install it under the carpet and I have <1/2" between the hoop and the headliner.

Ah, gotcha. That's nice, I didn't realize they offered such a service.

Will this same philosophy work with the civic? It will have no carpet and no headliner.
