So from what I understand, Ground Control coilovers that were made for Koni Yellow struts will NOT fit other shocks, but Ground Controls made for any other shock WILL fit Koni Yellows? Someone help me out who knows the answer to this, thanks.

 

koni specific GC sliders are made to use the clip ring in the konis. this makes them look like a real coilover. standard gc sleeves sit on the shock perch, this is why they will work on any shock including koni. with the konis you just use the supplied perches and the gc's on top of them. it's ghetto as hell looking which is why those of us like myself on koni sports and gc sleeves spent the extra $40 on specific sleeves.

 

You're not supposed to use standard GC sleeves on Koni Sports with the standard Koni-supplied perches. It's not safe. You need to get the proper adapter to allow a standard GC sleeve to sit on the Koni circlip instead of using the Koni spring perches.

Good info. I been wondering what the adapters looked like for the koni. Because A have the GC non specific and looking to get koni shocks later on. Since the adapter keeps the bottom of the sleeve centered. What do you us for the top of the sleeve? Or is nothing required?

i think those are just for Skunk 2 springs

 

They are "for" skunk2 coilovers to work with koni Sports, however, I have heard of them being used with other coilover sleeves.

If your worried about it working contact ground control or koni, Im sure one or the other will be able to get it for you.
