the S light is blinking on my 91 ex(automatic). i used the jumper thing and it's throwing codes 7 and 15. what do these mean? also the car doesn't shift by itself. if i'm in D4 or D3 it stays in 4th and if i'm in 1 or 2 it stays in 2nd gear. basically i'm driving around with 2 gears and it kinda sucks. any idea what's wrong? thanks.

 

not sure, has the transmission ever been serviced? had to rebuild mine which was stupid should have swapped for a used 5-speed, but yea, the tranny tends to die on these..

sounds like the trans controller went bad,try unplugging it then re-connect it and see what happens. it is under the pass. carpet.
