I just installed my comptech headers and I have the Thermal axel back on as well. I cant find anyone who is getting rid of their Thermal b pipe and the stock one has too many bottlenecks. I found a pretty good deal on the Tanabe Racing Medalion but im afraid that the piping will be like 2.5 inches. Is that the right size? If that is the case, will it even be worth putting that on since cat is 2.25 and the comptech is either 2.25 or 2, cant remember? Im assuming that since from header to cat, it wont be very free flowing because of all the different sizes. Will I feel better performance with my Thermal Axel back and stock b pipe (thermal is 2.25 inch piping) or with this Tanabe Racing Medalion cat back? Thanks!

 

i would assume 2.25"

 

TRM is 60mm which is ~2.38" (give or take). Plus the TRM has a couple of bottlenecks.

Just go to an exhaust shop and have them make the piping....

or save your money, and go with the all out 2.5" setup...
