01' civic 4D LX squeek on bumps?
Check out this video I took with my iphone- at the 20 second mark my 2001 5 speed stock civic with 140k miles squeeks as i travel across uneven terrain or speed bumps. I hit it a bit fast to get a good loud squeek for the video
My wife has a 01' Automatic with 180k miles and hers clunks rather than squeeks. I did a search on here and most say is a compliant bushing?
Does everyone agree? Is there a how-to on here to repair them?
thanks, Joe

My Complience bushing sounded like a ball joint was gone, more of a knock then a squeek
The sound in your video sounds like something is rubbing

haha, yeah i hit that parking lot ramp fast- about 10mph for the video but even when idleing threw a drive threw if a wheel drops into a drain or a speed bump of any type it squeeks just like that only softer.
I normally treat the civic well, I have other cars to rally hard
I need this civic for my commuter car as it gets 42mpg and my wrx gets teens!

try having a friend push the front end up and down and go by the wheels and listen to what it is.. is it the stock suspension? it could be the top rubber bumper or whatever its called
