i got a code 10 - intake air tempature - Check intake air temperature (TA) sensor and replace if necessary.

LED blinks 10 times.. thats a code 10 right?

its susposed to blink once when you turn the key correct?

 

yeah i would imagine, i read somewhere on here that a long blink is 10, but im not too certain, and yes it does blink when you turn the key, to do a standard ecu "i'm a-ok" check.

 

Yes its 10 .....First re-set your ecu and see what happens, then with a multi meter check the plug ....When cold, it should read 2.5-4.5 volts. Also, check the ECT sensor for the same voltage, they should read close to the same. If they are not close to that reading prob time for a new sensor. Think they run like 50 bux at Honda

 

why would it just happen to break when i just took the head off...
i mean.. god.

 

whats the ect cant find it in my proggy.

also to reset ecu disconnect battery for 30 seconds?

and this proggy sez that to test the intake air temp sensor it should be at 68 F it should read 1000-4000 ohms not volts.
