gsr brake question ( quick answer needed )
are 92 gsr brakes the same as 94 and up gsr brakes.. if there not the same whats the differences.. cuz i want to put gsr brakes on my eg and someone has 92 gsr brakes for sale... so please let me get some answers fast thanks in advance
all integra brakes from 90-01 are the same excluding the ITR. doesn't matter if they are ls, gs, gsr, and year doesn't matter, they are all the same.
90-93 da integra knuckles are meant for 88-91 ef civic/crx brake swaps. for the best alignment results, 94-01 dc integra knuckles are better suited on 92-95 eg civic

EFRue57's right: 90-93 da integra & 94-01 integra calipers are both stamped 17cl14vn; regardless if it from a ls, gs, rs or gsr (90-01 integra excluding itr). although the part #s are different, the parts are interchangeable (they share the same sized pads & 10.3" rotors). only minor difference: the 90-93 da integra uses a overhead pad spring
with DX calipers, use a DX master cylinder; so if you're upgrading to bigger front brakes, it'll require a bigger master cylinder since you need more fluid to push the bigger piston. keep your 92-95 eg civic DX brake booster & upgrade your master cylinder; a 90-91 civic EX sedan will bolt on with no modifications, oem honda part # 46100-SH4-A11

as for rear discs, you can source them from any civic or integra with a complete rear disc and swap out your drum trailing arms. you'll need disc brake hoses since they are longer than the drums. for proper brake bias, you'll need to use a valve propportioner from any rear disc without abs

ok thanks for all the info.. im alittle confused so lets see if i got this right.. if i do just the rear disc conversion onto my eg civic i could use any integra rear disc ?? but if i want to upgrade the fronts im going to need the master cylinder if im using da front disc ??? is that pretty much it or am i missing something still
yeah i forgot to put that in. i was thinking of the brakes themselves and didn't even consider the spindle. thanks for correcting that.
