Help with horsepower b16
I have an si with a b16a2. Its my daily driver but im trying to gain some power. I am going for all motor. Im trying to reach 190 tp 200+ hp to the wheels if possible.
I have:
port polished head
ctr cams
type r header
type r intake manifold
type r throttle body
aem intake
straight pipe
exhaust
ngk spark plugs
running a little higher compression
b&m fuel pressure regulator
stage one clutch and light flywheel
jdm p30 ecu
is it possible to reach 190 to 200 hp to the wheels. Im going to get hondata s300j and get my car tuned. Thanks

i say you should be able to hit between 170-190whp if your car gets tuned well enough. gotta remember your asking the motor to give you roughly 50whp over stock.
the head work helps but the b16a2 will need a lot more work to get around the 200whp mark...there was a fully built b20VTEC in honda tuning not to long ago that had around 215 to the wheels. I know my buddy who has a b18c-R made 181whp and 131wtq. if that helps any
B20B Block build it with new rod bolts, bearings, ITR compression 84.5mm pistons, and new rods, and you'll be damn near your goal! granted there is more involved then dropping out the b16, and putting in the b20 so make sure u know what ur doing. (B20Vtec)
