Need help asap! Strut and Spring install

Ok so im in the middle of an install..Installin mugen sports suspension on my 02 ep3..all of the struts were an easy install except for front driver side..The strut wont line up with holes on the control arm..itll move left and right but not up to fit in with the holes on the strut.l.Please help!! where stuck..we dont kno y its not movin

yea we ended up just turning and pushing as hard as we could and it finally popped in..man that thing was a serious pia!! I started sweatin it after about an hour or so of pushing and nothing happenin..I had never had this happen to me so ya lol but I guess its a common thing that happens on the ep3 from what ive read..sometimes u just have to manhandle the stuff I guess!

my trick is to loosely put on the 3 top nuts so the strut will rock back and forth.....then put in the lower bolt that connects the knuckel to the strut.....you can now push on the part of the knuckel that the upper bolt goes into while turing the disk....pops right in...

just another tip - i popped both of mine out doin a spring job (first time doing anything with suspension), and what i found to be really easy, after about 30 minutes of feeling what it would do when i did different things, is to turn it towards you about a quarter of the way then really start your pushing an turn clock wise (as if the car was going backwards) that PIA slipped in sooo quick then i turned it counter clockwise and it went straight back into the strut holes. i did the next side in about 2-3 minutes it was a snap...
