I recently bought a 94 del sol that i am putting a brand new boosted motor in. the gas tank is rusty i want to see if anyone has used a restore kit before. i bought one from kbs and i am just a little aprehensive on using it. Any information or suggestions will be appreciated.

 

I just had to deal with my 75's gas tank. What I did was I had a radiator/gas tank shop boil it out and reseal it. Cost me $325 but that was better than a $500 new one (That is if I could of found one)

Check around and call some repair shops and see if they have anyone they use.

 

check ebay. they have plastic replacement tanks for like 120
