I recently got a gsr head and it came with the old school skunk2 manifold, the one that doesnt say skunk2 on it. I would just like to know how this compares to the "redesigned" manifold. I dont have a new one to compare the two, otherwise I would just put them back to back, but as far as I can tell from pictures is the only difference is one says skunk2 on it, the other doesnt. Anyway, performance is whats important, so does one perform considerably better than the other, or is it all the same?

 

They should be quite similar as very little was changed between the two generations.

 

I thought the runner angle was changed to match the head on the Pro Series manifolds.

 

I don't think it was ever an issue on the PR-3 heads but I don't know if anything got corrected/changed on the GSR head units.

 

Anybody else think theres any differences? What do you all think I could sell the manifold for if I decide to sell it?

 

The runners are longer / wider i believe on the pro series..

 

The newer design is little bit better whp wise !! for type r's now i never tested it on gsr
