...so I just swapped in a used cable tranny on my DA because my old one was worn. Everything runs fine except it appears my power steering is shot. It's a pain to turn at a stand still and at slow speeds.

Is it my power steering or did we tighten something too tight? It worked fine before the switch.

Duh, was looking in the wrong reservoir. It was the fluid. Put in a bottle of Honda fluid and I'm good. I'm a dumb ***.

 

Did you check the belt?

 

Belt is fine. It was working prior to switching the tranny. So I'm wondering if it may be an axel or we just tightened something to tight or something.

 

did you guys disconnect the PS lines on the speed sensor? Fluid might have leaked out

Yeah, we had to unplugg two lines to fully remove the tranny. Red fluid leaked out which i initially thought was tranny fluid.

 

No they aren't tranny fluid. Check your Power Steering resevoir tank to see visually if the power steering fluid is low before adding more.
