check it out im lookin for a car and this is what i've came across
theres a jdm h22 civic coupe for 2 grand clean title , now it needs interior and exterior work
engine wise the 2nd gear is grinding and it needs that idle control thing when it idles at high rpms at a dead stop

now i can also get integra gsr for 2 grand, it needs exterior work, 2 new tires
the motor is clean runs real good, it has 200k on the motor though and its a salvage title, interior is real good also

so what yall think i should get? opinions needed please

I'd get the GSR, but it depends on why it's a salvage title. If it was theft, go for it. If it was an accident, I would look for another car unless the damage was repaired correctly (read: no bondo).

I wouldn't ever buy a car that the previous owner put a swap into unless I knew the person and he was a competent mechanic. There is a reason he is selling it, and who knows what problems it has besides the ones you know about already: transmission, interior, body, idle control. Does not sound like a good deal at all.

 

GS-R is better, but make sure its theft recovery over accident car...my type-r was a theft recovery....chasis was mint...just had alot of **** missing...

go with the gsr h motors are nice the b series is where it's at and about the mileage just spend a few hundred bucks and rebuild it if need be

 

yeah im really leaning towards the gsr now

yea i was gonna start naming all the stuff that needs to be fixed, making it look like it'll be hard and alot of money and tell him ill give him 1500 lol ill let yall know im going to check the car out again in a couple hours

gsr dc2 turbo or NA will be alot better then the h22
