Default Help me make Hp

hey. im kinda new to the honda scene and i just got my first b series engine. Its a B18c1. my cousins gave me a jackson racing supercharger to go with it. Im not in a hurry to jus drop it in until i make some mods to the engine. i wanna make between 265 and 280whp without spending more than 3500. any suggestions.

Suggestion 1: Post in Forced Induction ... I moved it for you so its fine now

You have very reasonable goals for the setup, what do you want to know? Your budget is fine, and you have the SC already...if you have specific questions, ask.

well you dont need anything. you have everything you need. a gsr with a JRSC can make your hp stock blocked.. you can do little mods to it to make it easier. with the money you have do you wanna save or just build a complete motor. then put on the supercharger.

If the motor is healthy change out the ex cam for a itr ex cam! then send your manifold to LHT and get a heat exchanger, http://www.lhtperformance.net/Superc.../upgrades.html, then get a MVM stepper pulley a B20 crank pulley a 3.8'' blower nose pulley and you will boost aprox 12.5 psi then get a kamakazi header or a good 4-1 with a 2.5'' collector also get a full 2.5'' catback and it would be a good idea hp wise to get a test pipe for max flow, go with a 68mm or 70mm throtle body and get a 3'' short ram intake with a velocity stack or i like the comptech ice box intake personally and get your self a set of 440cc rc injectors or bigger and a hondata s100 ecu is all you need once tunned you should be right up there at least 260-270hp.

why run a itr ex cam? I thought the itr ex cam was really really close to gsr cam... and the itr intake cam is the one he would need.

the GSR intake and ITR exst cam combo has been proven to make considerable HP gains on JRSC'd setups, known to out preform straight ITR cams, now on an all motor setup, the CTR intake cam would probably be better.

I have a jrsc gsr with the itr exhaust cam and gsr intake cam and swapping the stock gsr cam for the itr exh cam picked me up 25 ft lb trq and 23 hp this was along with the lht mod and cam gears but I know for sure and many very experienced jrsc owners will tell you the itr exh , gsr intake set up are the best cams for making hp. Prior to swapping my exh cam I was putting down 237 hp 181 trq after I put down 260hp and 206 trq .After a few more items I put down 277 hp and 203 trq. The cars a blast to drive and surprises many unsuspecting drivers.
