Default ?Instaling JDM Center Console On EG Help?

i was out trying to install the center console on my eg
i previously thought it was because my dash wasnt bolted on
so i went to pick apart and got the bolts for my dash
bolted it on then went at it, following directions i put the 2 screws on
that holds the front piece of the audio console
then when i try and slide the mount base it doesnt have room like i cant
even get it to where the bottom part is supposed to go because the front part
of the console hangs too low, im supposed to put the 2 bolts to hold the console
but i cant even get it to line up WTF aye
anyone have any similiar problem?

Not sure what your asking here, take some pics or explain it clearly. Should be able to unbolt the old console, and in with the new. Just have to mount all the brackets. You need to remove the E-Brake cover/Arm Rest if you have one. which over laps the shifter cover, where you need to remove that, and undo the screws from the bottom to remove the cupholders to mount the bottom brackets. Should be fairly simple if you have the HOP installation guide. Here if you don't have one: http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/.../16613_01.html GL

Sounds like maybe you are trying to use a RHD console on a LHD dash.

Well, the RHD console doesn't fit properly on a LHD vehicle. They're not symmetrical. This will give you an idea of what you're up against: http://clubeg6.com/forum/viewtopic.p...64825ccf281f16 ... 'course this is LHD console in RHD, but it's the same idea .. and looks like fitment is junk.

Have no fear ... plenty of ppl on eBay will still buy it ... ones who haven't read this post, of course.
