No i didn't but here is a PM i got from a fellow member on HT regarding them.
"I've used that rebuild kit on several motors and they are all running good. Haven't had any problems with them yet."

Was there a reason in particular that you didnt? Did the person that pm'ed you mention why they didnt post up for public knowledge? Either didnt want to get flamed or perhaps didnt want potential customers to know he bought their parts on ebay? Just seems slightly odd is all.
Well I always thought the CTR pistons were a good piston to use in a B18C until I started seeing threads stating that the P30 pistons our of the B16a were a better choice for the 1.8L motors, so I just wanted to get an idea in price and saw some on ebay.

i would trust the pistons, and the NPR rings. from personal experience i had good results from the pistons and rings. as for the gaskets, id go with oem. These aftermarket gaskets tend to have leak issues.
I was thinking the same thing about the gaskets. Maybe throwing them on my daily since that has leaks for the mean time and see how they hold up.
gaskets are what i wouldn't buy. the rings and pistons are fine. tons and tons of builds get done with npr stuff. cast pistons aren't hard nor expensive to make. i do agree about oem for the gaskets so my vote is to save your money, spend 120 ish on the piston and ring kit then go oem for gaskets.
as for bearings. acl is fine if you do the machine work to set the clearances correct.

the close ups of those gaskets look really good. that's not at all bad for aftermarket.
i have no idea where the "ebay brand" was born here on HT. ebay is just a marketplace with great stuff as well as junk

thats the 'EBay' headgasket next to the head, i dont have many more pics, i tried making a log or a build thingy but i had to hurry up considering that was my daily driver and needed it the enext day, after I finished it my buddy put the cam caps on backward and the car kept jumping time, there were to many ppl working on this at 1 time (3 ppl to b exact)had to take the cam caps back off and do it right once everybody left it was aboouot 3 in the morning when i got done i was super tired and when i crunk it up the next day it idle to like 4k rpm, i was thinking dang i got a intake manifold or gasket leak so i figured that kit i bought was junk, so i weent through 4 intake manifold gaskets and to find out i forgot to put coolant back in the car and bleed it... i was so dissapointed i couldnt drive the car the next day because of the idleling problem and was gonna blame ebay becuase of my coolant issue but it was my fault... if you have anymore question you can pm me or feeel freee to ask here

High compression turbo? How much boost are you running? I wouldn't be pushing it too hard with cast pistons and high compression...
