Icon2 95 civic power to manual steering rack

Tried posting this in the 92-2000 forum but no real help. I have a 95 civic ex and the seals are leaking so bad that I feel the car is unsafe to drive. I am wanting to swap to a manual steering rack from the power one. I guess my only real question is will it be a straight swap from power to manual rack, or will I need other parts as well? Any help is appreciated, need to know fairly soon. Thanks in advance

i know the manual one is more complex. it should be a simple swap and pull all the manual stuff out

I think you meant to say that the manual rack is less complex. All of the mounting points are the same (manual/power steering racks).

as said before, plug n play. easy swap. deffenitly like it better than the power assist.

i know this is kind of late. but we did this to a DA integra and yes its is very easy. Use a air gun!!!!! saves alot of time and those bolts are on there GOOD!!! road feel is great. even at higher speeds. the car feels like it has more control. saves weight. only down fall is parking lots! wish i had power steering for parking alots and all them tight spots! oh well gotta pay to play.
