how do i replace the harness that plugs into the ecu in my eg civic ? its the 2 piece design just wonderng is it connected to the whole cabin harness running along inside the dash and everything or do i just cut the conduit and tape and it should come out a piece of its own? kind of confused right now i got a few wires that is cut on there and i just want to install the clean ex harness without the custom VTEC wiring and all that stuff. any help would be appreciated thanks.

 

unfortunately, it isnt a two piece harness. You have to pull the whole cabin harness out from the dash. My car was recently stonel and when i got it back they cut the ecu plugs so i had to take the dash out and everything to put a new harness back in. Its really no biggy to pull the dash in an EG and its all very simple to go back in!

 

damn that sux haha i was trying to avoid that ... i prolly just end up soldering everything then haha probably easier
