I plan on cleaning those fat-5s for the time being. Why coilovers? Arent lowering springs fine? Or is there something exceptional that coilovers offer. . ?

A lot of the time springs will provide an uneven drop resulting in a rake effect. (the front being lower or vice versa) With coilovers you can raise or lower your car at anytime with a few spins of the coilover.

I love the color and would keep the fat fives. I like the look of stock rims. I say get coilovers if you plan to do some auto x or track as it is a lot of money if you are just doing it for looks.

HID's without a retrofit are still pretty good with the OEM projectors... Maybe not quite as wide, but they still do the job so you're not blinding other people on the road.

Blue Green is always clean! One of my favorite teg colors to do a 98+ on. Good job man.

And for everyone saying "slam it," that thing looks pretty freakin low to me already...???

Shave the side moldings though or color match them would be my next step... Along with better wheels.

Looks good! 98+ Tail lights and an ITR lip would really set that car off.

DOES an oem type-r lip look ok without the type-r sideskirts and rear valences? I just put the 95 black sideskirts and will replace the side moldings for the blackones as well, to give it the 95 look underneath!<------reason for leaving amber taillights.

Also, what brand of HID kits work without retrofit? because my headlights aren't oem. Is that a problem for HID installation?

Needs the 98-01 tails, but it looks good. Where did you get the headlights and for how much?

Bleh IMHO stock tails w/ amber turn signals look better on that color car.

Was that to me? I used OEM 4300K Philips D2S bulbs with my Hella bi-xenon projector retrofit.

Looks fine to me, although painted sides or OE optional sides would look tons better. I never had the additional time or money so my sides are still black. Oh well.

I would recommend 96+ mirrors to complete the conversion on the outside.
