2010 Chicago area Track and Autox Calendar
Here is a Google calendar of Track and autocross events in the Chicago+ area I updated with 2010 info.
http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=545716
The list of organiztions included in the calendar are below. I have only included organizations and events that are open and appropriate to all makes and models and all levels of driving ability (excludes wheel to wheel competition, scca national tours, etc.). I also focused mainly on Chicago and Milwaukee area autocrosses events. If there are any events in other parts of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota or even Iowa and Ohio, please let me know.
Please confirm with the organizer any changes in the schedule, location, etc. A link is provided in each calendar entry. The calendar will continue to be updated with added, removed, and changed events but I can't keep up with everything. So that it's easy to read, track days and high speed autox are listed as full day events and autocrosses are listed by estimated start and end times. Again, please check with each organizations website for details.
If there is any error or change to an event listed in this calendar, or if there is an additional organization you would like to include, you can post here or pm me.

That excludes HPDE events held by the following groups in the states you list:
BMW CCA (holds HPDE events at Road America, Brainerd, Putnam Park, Gateway, Mid-Ohio, Gingerman, Grattan, Autobahn, Waterford Hills, Nelson Ledges)
PCA
Audi Club
CGI Motorsports (Gingerman only)
Chin Motorsports (Mid-Ohio)
I know BMW CCA also holds autocrosses; I don't know about the other German marque clubs.

BMWCCA and PCA are excluded on purpose as those aren't open to all makes (afaik).
I included Audi Chicagoland chapter autocrosses - I know those are open. I did not include their hpde's. I know you have to be a member but I'm not sure if Audi ownership is required for membership. I do not see any Audi Badger Chapter events. Any other Chapters I should look at?
Can't believe I forgot CGI! Those guy's are great. I'll add them shortly.
Didn't know about Chin Motorsports. I can add them.

Thanks for the calendar!
Also, you should include 10/10ths motorsports and midwestern council.

EDIT - nevermind about midwestern council, just saw that you do have them already.

Your objection regarding PCA is valid. You cannot be a member of the club unless you own a Porsche. Entry into specific events varies based on the chapter and the event; basically they give preference to Porsches and if they can fill the event with them, they won't let other marques in.
All BMW CCA events are open to all makes, and you can be a member of the club without owning a BMW. (I've been doing their events for 20 years, and they do them extremely well, with plenty of attention given to safety, learning, and fun!) So go ahead and add them. You may or may not be able to find all their events listed on their national club website; if not, they should be listed on the websites for the individual chapters. There are some tracks (e.g. GingerMan, Putnam Park, Mid-Ohio) where more than one BMW CCA chapter holds events. LMK via PM if you have trouble finding the ones I mentioned.
1. You must be a BMW CCA member or a guest of a BMW CCA member to compete.
4. A BMW CCA member may bring only one participating non-member guest to each event. The guest must drive the member’s car or a BMW or BMW built MINI.
Considering a guest would have to drive a BMW or the member's car, I figured the member would have to drive a BMW as well.
What concerns me for autox though is that you have to be a member to participate. I think every autocross organization I list is either open to everyone regardless of membership or allows you to pay more as a non-member. For example, with Windy City Miata Club autocrosses, non-members pay more to register. Or at SCCA events, you pay an extra $15 for a weekend pass that gets you a weekend membership that is refundable if/when you join SCCA. I'd hate for someone looking at my calendar to show up to a BMW autox and find out that they have to pay another $48 - instead of a $5 to $15 premium. Do you know if they have weekend passes like SCCA?
I don't know what their policy for autocrosses is, but it sounds like it's stated clearly, based on your quote. Here is a photo of a non-BMW competing at one of Windy City Chapter BMW CCA's autocross events last year.
For the BMW CCA's HPDE drivers schools, non-members can sign up, but they charge an extra amount (I think it's $48) equal to one year's dues, and that goes for your membership. I think that's the same way NASA registration for HPDE events goes; membership is required, and you can pay it at the same time you sign up for your first event of the year.
In case you are wondering why this policy is in place, it's done primarily for tax reasons. I'm pretty sure these are non-profit organizations covered by part 501(c)(7) of the Internal Revenue Service tax code. In order to maintain their tax-exempt status, there's a requirement that a certain percentage (I think it's 85 percent) of their revenue must come from members. And this is how they accomplish that.
