I have a 91 civic STD. I know the hubs are smaller than the DX.

I ordered a front wheel bearing today and was told they are the same size (std & dx).

Is this true and only the hubs are smaller?

I would have thought the bearing would also have been smaller on the STD than the DX.

 

Well I did search this forum and after reading nearly all of the 250 posts that matched "Wheel Bearing", I believe the answer is that the bearing is the same size, but the hubs themselves are of different inner diameter sizes.

 

bearing is the same on all models from STD/HX/DX/LX/SI/EX, what changes, is the hub itself.
