Default 95 Accord Wagon SRS unit interchangability?

Here's my dilemma. I've got a 95 Accord EX, 4cyl, automatic wagon that i love very much. it had had the SRS light on for a bad unit since about 1997 (bought it from orig owner. close friend's mom, she drove me to little league practice in it ). I got in a very minor front end collision with the car and the bags deployed, which surprised the **** out of me. i have since repaired the body damage and replaced the air bags, but im having an issue finding a used SRS unit. Now, there are a ton of them on ebay, but there seem to be a few different units out there. all have the same main plug, but some have a secondary, unused plug, and a totally different bolt pattern to attach them to the car.

my part number
77960-SV5-A92

ive got a 77960-SV4-A900, and that throws a check engine light and the SRS light stays on.

my question is, will a 77960-SV4-A92 work for me? i believe the only difference is that the SV4 is from the sedan and the SV5 is obviously the wagon. the SV5 units are totally impossible to find.

Well I now know that the 94 and 95 srs systems are totally different. The 94 has dash sensors and more wiring, and therefore uses a totally different control unit.

What I still don't know is if I can use the 95 sedan/coupe (same Honda part number) in my wagon.

I can't say much about the interchangeability but I too had the srs light and pulled the codes on it which led me to replace my srs unit. I found a car that had been in a side impact crash and purchased the srs unit to replace mine. Unfortunately, I had not pulled my old one out yet and after I got the new unit home found out that it will not work in my car. It is unit model number 77960-SV4-A90 and should work in your application. If you are interested in purchasing this unit, send me a PM. I am just trying to recoup what I spent on it.
