18x8 +38 offset will they fit si sedan?
Well I wouldn't say just fine......Are you lowered? You should stick with 215 to 235 tire width. And that's with nothing lower than the HFP suspension. If you are lower than that you should probably stick with stock 215 tire width.
I have 245/30/19 with 19 X 8 55 offset and 20mm spacers which make it the same as a 35 offset and HFP suspension. It's very close to rubbing fender.
This is all assuming that the 18's and your tire package retain the stock rolling diameter.

So my 19 x 8 with 55 offset and 20mm spacers which effectively make the offset 35 and my 245/30 tires have an overall diameter of 24.8" which is right in between the stock size 24.6" and the HFP 18's of 25.1".
So if it's not very aggressive with only an HFP suspension then why do I rub the liner when compressed in turns?
Csmiths do you even have wheels or know anything about offsets, backspacing?
That's terrible advice. You do know that a 235-245 is a recommended tire width for an 8" wheel. If that's not aggressive on a civic then what would you say is?

LOL at you. you rub because your on soft suspension. run something stiffer and you wont have to worry about rubbing.
and i clearly have no idea about offsets and back spacing. but somehow i got my 18x9 +25 to fit. silly me
AND my wheels before these were 18x8.5 +41 equips dropped on nuespeed race and i wouldnt rub with those. and they are more aggressive then the op's wheels.

CCW Classic Fully Polished (Neo Chro Edition)
Front Wheels: 18×9 (2.5″ lip)
Rear Wheels: 18×9 (2.5″ lip)

Rear Tires: 225/40/18 Dunlop DZ101
Front Camber Settings: -1.5
Rear Camber Settings: -3.5
Suspension: NA
Approx Drop: 2.5″
I think +30 rear and +25 front would work well. Idk how I got that camber i don't have a camber kit in the rear it's the natural camber generated from lowering.
Oh well I thought you had one haha I want a staggered look but then I don't. I might just rock a 28 for the rear and 25 for the front. And I might take the nut off my rear camber kit to get more negative camber.

You got your 18 x 9 + 25 to fit because geometrically it is essentially a as a 8" wide wheel with + 50 so that's no surprise to me at all. What were you running 215's 225's maybe?
Not everone has their car slammed with rock hard springs. So if you say you need something stiffer than HFP to accommodate big wheels and tires that's why I said it was bad advice to just say they would fit no problem.
I rub sometimes because I have 245's
I can see from your pics that your tires are stretched. Put some real rubber on those fat wheels and tell me how well they fit then. 9" wheel you should have some 245-265 mm tires on. Stretched just means you have to much wheel for the tire. That's a good way to rash up your wheels right?

Please just give up. My car is FAR from slammed i run stiff coils so that i can fit these wheels with minimal rubbing.
He also didnt ask if the wheels will fit geometrically, he asked if he would need spacers or if they would stick out. plain and simple. so for me to say that they would fit with ease is completely correct. He wouldnt need spacers and they wouldnt stick out= easy.
He also didnt ask for tire sizes, not everyone wants to have huge *** tires on a damn civic. My tires are stretched so that MY wheels fit flush. i could very easily raise it to the height that YOUR at and run 255's. Do i want to do that? Hell no. But that obviously isnt what I wanted to do so you do your thing and ill do mine, which is knowing what wheels will fit our cars.
kthnxbye

cool
Oh stupid me for thinking that when someone asks about wheels they might be concerned with the tire package as well.
I'm done.
kthnxbye? a little girly isn't it?

im running a 18x8 +42offset tire size is 215-40 18 and im sitting very low!!! I HAVE NO RUBBING ISSUES WHAT SO EVER!!!
AJP you sir are wrong. you always bring up your +55offset accord rims. 19x8 makes a huge difference in comparing a 18x8 rim.

^ I only bring it up when people ask about wheels and tire size so that they have numbers to compare to and to try to help them make a decision.
And greg I'm not surprised you don't rub.
Also it doesn't matter if you compare 19 x 8 or 18 x 8 as long as you keep the overall diameter of the tire the same. I rub the tire not the wheel.

^because you have 215's on them. If someone put 235's or 245's ,which is a mainstream tire size for a wheel that wide, then it would stick out .5 or .6 inches more. Would it still fit easily then? Do you have much more to spare? I'm sincerly asking....I haven't seen your wheels up close greg.
245's are 30mm wider than 215's.....that's 1.18" divided by 2 and that's what protrudes just on the outer wall. That's where I get .6"
