i have a few folders of my DA9 from when i first got it...and now thats it going under a new complete rebuild i figured why not start with the pictures from where she first started before starting with the new build pictures

first few pictures are from when i first got the car which i got before my liscense i had been wanting a DA9 since about the age of 12 (no joke)

first few mods were pretty simple the free,cheap,maint. mods.

-brakes
-black interior
-lowered
-sparco seats
-painted rims black
-intake
-red valve cover
and few other random things

 

my favorites were removing the wing,lowering it,black rims,and seats

after starting to drive the car around the one thing i loved the most is how rarely i ever got problems from the car so i can save up to do good things which will later been seen

 

few new things like sparco hoodie and steering wheel were fun..to get in the mail

had some fun auto-crossing with the car for pretty much not that crazy of a suspension setup

all i had was pretty much a cold air, and cat-back the weather was humid and insanely hot...but still happy with my time

ran a 16.0 btw coulda been better im sure if it wasnt for a stock clutch that felt like it was slipping hahaha

 

did a 92-93 front bumer...HIDs...all red taillights...OEM front lip...EK side skirts...yellow foglights

92-93 bumper had a crack but i gave it some personality with some stiches

before going away for school....i decided i would do a non-vtec boost build which as for the head ended up being crower valve springs and retainers...crower stage 2 turbo cams..and skunk2 cam gears... i begged my parents to ship the DA9 to me in houston which didnt happen...but the good thing is ill be starting on my DC2 thread soon to show the progress of my DC2 build from when purchased to where it stands now

 

my first vacation back from houston to visit home...wasnt the greatest...a truck had backed into it and of course was a hit an run...so i ended up having to do ricer headlights cause i ended up getting into an accident with my moms car so my dad was going to need the DA to get around for a while...i was soo pissed about doing the ricer head lights..but it was all i could find..not only that my dad took my tints off...and was happy about it...he also threw out my cat-back for and replaced with a stock one...

 

im in the black and white hoodie...and i was pretty upset..i was only back for a week..and didnt get to fully repair the car... plus i was ANGRY and about the rice headlights
