Hello from Alabama. I've been building /restoring my '88 hf for about two years now. Here's MY story.
Bought an 88hf shell about a year ago and went to work. It had set under a tree for 5 years and needed a lot.
New parts replaced-
SOHC ZC from HMO(rebuilt)
fuel tank/filter/pump
radiator
brakes
tires
si seats
si rear interior
rear garnish
clutch
si trans
MODS-
Cometic MLS Head Gasket
NGK PLUGS/WIRES
680 drycell (custom mount)
innovative mounts
cold air
fart can
dc short shifter
TIME FOR PICS... :-)b

Right now she's turning 9.60's in the 1/8th with the si trans.

BEATER RUN!!1
I have an H22 I am getting ready to put in her. I'm going with the H2D setup.

Damn you people and having uncracked climate controls!!! Sorry, now that that's out of the way, very clean car my friend. My first CR-X was a white 89 hf with si interior. I still miss that car.
And a very respectable time for a single cam. A lot of people doubt that my current CR-X ran a 9.5 with a mini-me swap so it's nice to see someone with a similar setup with a time slip showing a run closely matching mine, lol.
NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE SINGLE CAM, BUWAHHH!!!!

Thank you Sir. It's just as clean on the inside as it is on the outside. I think I got lucky and got one with ultra low miles on it. When I first got it and looked at the valve train itliooked brand new. No brown anywhere on the inside.
