I'm taking my GSR Sedan in for full body paint. Here are my thoughts.

#1 full matte black paint with matte bronze wheels.
Or
#2 full gloss black paint with matte finish wheels.

Car is going in tomorrow morning.

#2 for sure. Matte paint sucks when it gets dirty.

 

Well I was told that the paint still has a clear coat mixed in, it is just a very low shine. You can still clean and wash it just like normal paint. No need to wax it, just use a spray detailer.

matt black would look like a half assed paint job.people who dont know any better will be like when u going to paint the car? matt black=no poon from chicks shiny as hell paint=mad poon. lol im just ****in around.

Well I dropped the car off today. I'll post up some pictures of the final results. Here are a few pictures of the car before I took it in.
OMG.................What have I done. One thing is for sure. I'm going to be able to clean every part of the car when I put it all back together again.

By the way, How do you guys like my ultralight racing seat??

 

Should I keep the tan interior or do a swap to black interior?

swap to black.. thats alot to be swapping though

 

I have decided to go with the satin/matte black. (keeping my fingers crossed)
I need to find some one that's parting out a 4dr with black interior.

 

Here is an update on the integra. all the dents taken out, and it's ready for blocking.

 

Almost forgot my wheels and tires came in yesterday too.

 

Definitely gloss. Matte is way too much like primer.

That is sick. I plan to paint the BB6 Satin black this summer. What paint did you use?

 

Thanks, Its called "Hot Rod black" PPG makes it. Its got a matte clear coat so it will not change colors or turn white.

 

I changed my mind on the wheels, I'm going to have the wheels painted satin black to match the paint job.

 

It looks good when its done right and yours is done right....but I just cant see spending all that time and pulling of the body parts to do a satin paint job..
