whenever i release my clutch halfway there's a ticking noise (one loud tick) coming from the passenger side... its really weird and its been happening since i replaced my clutch.... what could it be and should i fix it?

 

I noticed the same roblem in my 2000 civic si it only happend in first gear for a while now it happens 1 2 and 3 not all the time though its wierd any ideas anyone thanks

 

yea mine's only in 1st too..... any ideas guys?

 

did u torque the flywheel bolts and the clutch bolts back to specs? my friends some how rattled loose and sounded like that then it got alot worse. make sure its not an exhaust leak to alot of times exhaust leaks make tickin sounds but i would think it would do it all the time. hope this helps. make sure the flywheel shield under the motor by the oil pan is tight too.
