Sorry for this what is da fastest, well in this case quickest car question. But, know how cars keep getting faster and faster every season. I was wondering what is the quickest honda out there?? And what it runs??

you have to look no further than stephan papadakis,he's been the fastest honda for a few years now,he's running low 8s,as far as honda's go,the only competition he had was from the imported Apexi Drag integra,it ran mid 8s then it dissappeared.

 

As far as unibody Hondas go, I'm pretty sure the Venom Civic clicked off an 8.95, And I saw Kubo go a 9.05(I think, may be off a little)

 

Jojo also ran a 8.8 in a unibody.

 

Fastest honda is Steph's at 8.12 at 180mph and quickest unibody is Venom with a 8.728 at 164.37 and fastest unibody is kenny Tran with a 8.940 at 172.44.

Back to back 8.7X's. Just shows you if you throw enough money at a car eventually you will be successful.

 

What about the 4000hp funny car with the "integra" shape?! ran 6s something no?! If you can call that a honda!

 

I don't think that 4000hp funny car has made a run yet.
It's about as much of a honda as John Force's car is a Mustang.

I give the Venom team props man they are a bunch of great guys they sat there and bullshitted with me and a few buddies after the woodburn race for a couple hours. They went over their parts with us and all I got to say is that is the most strettable RACE car I have ever seen. They are using stock mounts with urathane inserts, stock CABLE trannies( more reliable) and an unported head. They are not bored or stroked and are running OPEN DECK. They said that car is putting 800+ horsepower to the wheels without the Nitrous which they run a 250 shot. So that is around 1100 hp!!!

The world's quickest Honda to date is none other than Adam Saruwatari's NSX, NOT Steph Papadakis' Civic.
Adam is in the low 7s with his NSX.

adam had to shut down half down the track yesterday though.. and isnt bergenholtz in the 8s now? he is unibody... stephon is tube with the motor mounted the otherway and a custom built tranny getting pretty far from a reg honda... but its still a h22

 

Adam is the fastest/quickest Honda but those were the fastest/quickest FWD

lol... im hoping u now know they were bs'ing u... there car is so far from streetable its not even funny... they dont even drive it through the staging lanes or back to the pits... they use cable trannies because they break so damn many... cable trannies are much cheaper and more readily available... they are bored and they are stroked and more than likely they have a solid deck... ur telling me venom with all the money in there budget is going to put together stock bore and stroke motor?

 

in addition to that i've heard that a cable tranny reacts faster than a hydro. bs or not... i dunno

 

dunno, good drivers can compensate for any trans
cable is lighter, less plumbing and cheaper. some people prefer the feel of cable trannies over hyrdo ones
