real quick noob question

Default real quick noob question

Do i have to take off the head to be able to install my cams/valve spring/retainers?. or just the valve cover? thanks!

just the valve cover, dizzy, rocker arm assembly, and there are caps holding the camshaft in place. Buy a Haynes manual, it gives you a step-by-step with pictures. It's cheap and a huge asset. But the head stays on.
