I have a 90 Crx hf, with a b16 swap and been having some issues lately. Car pulls hard and drives fine, but today while in 5th gear out of no where i lost power, and it started to slow down i tried to accerate but nothing, not untill i downshifted to 4th that it finally reved up and i shifted to 5th, then it was fine. while it did that, it also shaked alil as if it wanted to stall, then it slowed down. aside from that i have noticed a smell of gas when i rev high or speed up, so im not sure if that might be contributing to the problem. Some folks have advised me that it might be fuel related. i dont know. any help would be GREATLY appreciated, and the Honda god will repay you with alil extra boost when you least expect it lol. thanks

 

look for fuel leaks in the lines around the filter. could be a fuel leak causing air in the lines

 

my car did this a couple times before the fuel pump died

 

Leaking injector, bad regulator.
