Vintage 1970's Margay shifter kart with 100cc Yamaha engine. Recent extensive rework of entire kart.

Frame: Sandblasted and powder coated red. Questionable welds were grounded down and rewelded. Reinforcement added to the engine area.

Engine: New piston, rings, bearings, seals and gaskets. Crank rebuilt with new bearings. Bored 3rd over. Powder coated yellow and black reminiscent of the old MCcullough engines. Kick start gears have been removed so kart requires push starting but this is easy.

Brakes: Hurst Airheart master cylinder rebuilt with new seals, gaskets and cup. New brake pads installed in Airheart rear caliper.

Wheels and Tires: New front wheel bearings. Wheels powder coated flat black . Margay center hubs powder coated yellow. Front wheels are in good shape but rear wheels do have some knicks and dents. in the aluminum. Tires have tread left but arent suitable for racing in current condition. They would be great for riding in parking lot or around the neighborhood. New inner tubes in rear tires.

Misc: New fuel lines, kart reassembled with new bolts, washers and nuts. New floorpan, New control linkages. Silencer repacked, New edging around seat insert. Seat does have some cracking due to vinyl drying out but isnt too bad.
